About Your Chef

Emily is a graduate of the Art Institute of Washington with an Associate's of Fine Arts degree in Culinary Arts with a concentration in Baking and Pastry. She is also a ServSafe© certified food handler.
 


Emily got her start early by cooking at home often for her family and friends. She often thought of what she was going to cook for dinner while she was at school and she couldn't wait to go home and cook. When it came time to look at colleges, the mere thought of going to a traditional college like her parents wanted literally brought tears to her eyes.
 


So Emily pursued her passion and applied to culinary school. In school, she maintained a 3.7 GPA while working in the industry to gain real world experience. With her friendly and people pleasing attitute, she knew being a Personal Chef was the right path for her.
